A: Hi, I'm Alex. Nice to meet you.

B: Hi Alex, I'm Emily. Nice to meet you too.

A: Where are you from, Emily?

B: I'm from Taiwan. How about you?

A: I'm from the United States. That's cool that you're from Taiwan. What part of Taiwan are you from?

B: I'm from Taipei, the capital city.

A: Nice! I've heard Taipei is a great place to visit. What do you like about living in Taiwan?

B: Well, I love the food, the people, and the culture. We have a lot of night markets with delicious street food, and our culture is a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and indigenous influences. What about you? What do you like about living in the United States?

A: I enjoy the diverse culture and the opportunities here. It's a big country with a lot to explore.

B: That sounds great. So, what do you do for work?

A: I work in marketing. How about you?

B: I'm a teacher. I teach English as a second language.
